The Eniripsa Odile Bile was being uncompromising: "No! Mr. Mystheur cannot go to Frigost in this state!" Thanks to her, he therefore got one more week. So, Agent Skelet had gone to scout the Zaap in the Snowbound Village. Was the Office of Frankly Bizarre Affairs going to finally get to the bottom of the temporal anomalies?

Snowbound Village Zaap
Frigost
8:57 p.m.

The sun was already setting over the cotton-like lowland. The branches of the fir trees and snowdrops were swinging in the slight breeze. There was a Snowfoux scampering around in the snow. It stopped when a luminous spiral started swirling at the heart of the teleportation portal. Momentarily captivated by this fascinating phenomenon, the creature decided to run off. Three hooded figures came out of the arch. After a few steps in the snow, one of them uncovered his head to get a better look around:

"Wow… So pretty!" Agent Mystheur commented naively.

"Calm down!" Agent Booya Bay Smisse cut him off. "I couldn't wait to get through Astrub Zaap. What a waste of time, that waiting line!"
"We're here, that's what matters," Assistant Director Renniks interrupted. "Let's not hang around. Agent Skelett has already been waiting for us for a few hours…"
"The redhead's going to be seeing red…" Agent Smisse said mockingly.
"Look! It's starting to snow!!!" Agent Mystheur said excitedly.
"Come on, come on… You sometimes make me feel like I'm babysitting…"
"Huh, that's not true…"

As the snowflakes grew before their very eyes, they advanced toward a weather station. On the way, Retlaw Renniks explained to his two companions that the premises belonged to the Office of the F.B.A.: It was a research unit specializing in analyzing trails in the sky. With the approval of the agent in charge of the premises, Fay Renheit, Agent Skelet had already been staying there for a few days. She'd brought all the active case files to study them again quietly while keeping an eye on the Snowbound Village Zaap. Recently, a newspaper article about the Black Crow dating back to 981 had been found nailed to the portal! Fake? Or a real clue? Hard to say, but the most recent apparitions had always been preceded by such signs.

"Most of all, go easy on Agent Skelet," Renniks warned them at the door, "she's been holed up here working for several days now, and we're very late, so…"

The door opened abruptly. The three agents stood there, petrified, each wearing a forced smile.

"Please, come in. You must be cold!"

Her voice was warm, her smile charming. They did as they were asked without hesitating.

"I made you some Kokokonut milk cookies!"

Agent Mystheur spoke:

"Wow… Tell me who you are and what you did with Nada!!!"

(She laughed before placing her hand on the Xelor's cheek.) "Even your jokes escape me here, Mystheur." (Then, addressing the group) "Did you bring all the evidence that was left in the office? I made some new discoveries, but first, follow me – I need you to meet someone…"

Free of their fur coats, they followed Nada's lead and went into the refectory. A beautiful Huppermage with glasses welcomed them:

"Agent Fay, at your service! Tonight, the weather won't be pleasant. There will be violent flurries of snow and temperatures will drop," she announced with the greatest joy.

"Are you sure?" Agent Mystheur said, astonished. "There were only a few snowflakes just two minutes ago…"
"There will be gusts as early as 9:12 p.m.," Fay Renheit added. "Tomorrow morning, you'll probably get a 'white-out'!"
"A what?" asked Booya Bay Smisse.
"A 'white-out' is an optical effect. In short, you won't be able to tell the ground apart from the sky – everything will be perfectly white! Brilliant! Haha!"
"All right," said Agent Smisse. (Then, turning to Fax) "What have they been smoking!?
"Maybe loneliness gets you more in the zone, Booya," Agent Mystheur whispered before he jumped.
"COOKIIIIES!!!" Agent Skelet chanted when given a dish.

Agent Mystheur's Room
Weather Station
11:59 p.m.

Voices resounded in Fax's head:

"Fake, Mystheur, fake – even my grandmother knows it."

"That's what happens most often when you die. It's… over."

"Are you suggesting we're dealing with a Drheller, Mystheur?"

"You're just saying that because he's old and his feathered headgear makes him look senile."

"Hold me in your arms, Fax!"

"We're going to spend a little time together, mischievous little Xelor, hahaha!"

"Am I the only one who thinks it's lousy?"

"AAAAAAH!!!"

He woke up startled. He sometimes still had a fever at night. He sat in his bed and blindly grabbed the glass of water on his bedside table. Suddenly, he saw a hairy head watching him in the blizzard through the window.

"Skeleeeeet!!!" he screamed without thinking.

In a flash, the Sram entered the room with an oil lamp to comfort him.

"Did you have a nightmare? There, there… It's over."

"Mystheur, I need to talk to you!" Agent Smisse said intimidatingly, who then entered with his lamp.
"In a few minutes, Booya, I'm… in bad shape!" the Xelor answered with a wide smile, his head nested against his partner's chest.
"NOW!!!" the Rogue shouted impatiently.
"Alright, alright…"
"I'm not far, if you need me," Nada reminded him before leaving the room.
"Mystheur, there's something fishy going on…" said Agent Smisse.
"I don't know what you're talking about…"
"… About Skelet!!! She's usually a real Gobbette-skin! Now, it's as if she's a strawberry jelly… dripping with honey!"
"Hmm…" sighed Fax, thinking.
"Wake up, won't you!?"

Suddenly, someone screamed: "FIRE!" It was Renniks. Fax jumped out of bed and ran toward the call for help. He went down a long corridor that snaked through entire station, before discovering a bright light coming from Agent Skelet's office. He went in. A breath of intense heat enveloped him. Renniks tried to smother the flames with a blanket, but the fire surrounded him, devouring boxes and stacks of files on the shelves. Burning pages were swirling all over the room. It was chaos. Agent Smisse came in all guns blazing:

"Put that away, Booya – water's what we need!" yelled Assistant Director Renniks.

Smisse and Mystheur did a u-turn to leave the room and screamed in unison – a young short-haired Ouginak in a fur coat looked at them sternly, his tongue hanging out and his ears pricked:

"Well… You're already useless enough when it comes to evidence…"

Refectory
Weather Station
0:36 a.m.

Once the fire was extinguished, a court-like meeting was organized by the Assistant Director of the Office of Frankly Bizarre Affairs. All the protagonists were sitting in a circle, with their hair ruffled and their faces somewhat blackened: Retlaw Renniks, Booya Bay Smisse, Fay Renheit, Nada Skelet, Fax Mystheur, and even the little spotted canine, who drinking from a bottle of Cocalane using a bamboo straw.

"Partners… (he turned to the kid) guest… (the Ouginak stuck out his tongue) this is serious. All the evidence, all the witness statements, all the records, all the findings from our investigation into the temporal anomalies… went up in smoke tonight. We're gonna try to figure out what happened, starting with you, kid. Who are you? What are you doing here? Where are your parents? I mean… there's a storm outside!"

"My nickname is Troolic. (He drank noisily) I'm on vacation at my grandparents' place in Astrub. I was walking around when I recognized Agent Mystheur in the waiting line for the Zaap. I wanted to see how you were gonna botch your investigation even more, now that he had returned (he drank some more) So I got closer to listen to you and find out where you were going. When I got home, I asked my grandparents if I could sleep at my friend's next door, and I went out again a little later with my big coat on. You were still standing in line, so I snuck in so I could take the Zaap, not long after you, and then I looked for you…"
"Was that you at my window?" Mystheur questioned him.
"Yep! You screamed like a little girl." (he drank some more)
"Are you responsible – perhaps accidentally – for the fire in Agent Skelet's office?"
"Why would I do that?" (he drank some more)
"To see us 'botch this investigation even more', for example?" Nada didn't fail to point out.
"Agent Renniks, could we stop going around in circles and get to the point?" Agent Smisse said impatiently. "Could we just skip to the fact that two minutes before the fire, I ran into Agent Skelet with an oil lamp?"
"Well, that doesn't prove anything!" the Sram defended herself.
"Except we found a broken oil lamp at the bottom of a stack of shelves in your office," Renniks added.
"Wha… That's ridiculous!" Fax interjected. "You might as well accuse Fay while you're at it!"
"Why don't we question you first? Where were you when the fire started?"
"I… I was in my laboratory," the Huppermage said hesitantly. "I was running tests."
"What kind of tests?"
"Uh, testing… the rain and the good weather… the density of the snowflakes… well, okay! I confess! I went back to the kitchen to finish the rest of the Kokokonut cookies… There!"

The group let out a cry of amazement.

"I'm very disappointed, Fay," Mystheur admitted, shaking his head.

"Hey! The gire, guys?" Agent Smisse interrupted to get back on topic.
"And you, Booya?" Nada asked. "Everyone knows you like to spark things off. Why wouldn't you be responsible for this? All that cold. The lack of action. You had to set it all off! Confess!"
"I was with Agent Mystheur when it happened. Unlike you, my hot-haired little Sram… Besides, since when do the disciples of the god of deviousness make cookies that aren't poisoned? Or that are simply… nice? Hm?"
"Well, Booya, why would she destroy the evidence she was very much involved in gathering?" Mystheur pointed out.
"Because she's not Agent Skelet."

"Everyone turned to look at the puppy-smarty-wuppy.

"What are you saying?" Assistant Director Renniks asked.

"I'm saying that's not Agent Skelet." (He drank loudly to the last drop in the bottle, turned it upside-down to make sure it was empty, then threw it over his shoulder.)
"You aren't going to take that squirt seriously, are you?" Nada protested.
"Hey, are we getting all Gobbette-skinned again?" Agent Smisse said gleefully.
"Why do you say that, my boy?" Renniks continued.
"Because I found Agent Skelet tied up in the cellar."
"But… Why didn't you say so?" asked Mystheur as he got up hastily before rushing to the stairs to go check what he was saying.
"Because you didn't ask me."
"And why didn't you untie her?" asked Renniks.
(The little puppy put his paw next to his mouth as if he were telling a secret) "I don't like her!"

Agent Mystheur came back up from the cellar holding Agent Skelet. Booya Bay pointed a revolver at the Nada in the circle. She lowered her head. She started to laugh an evil laugh. Her hair turned blue. Her skin turned pale. Her legs came together as one, ending up looking like a Snapper's tail!

"She looks like a mermaid…" Renniks mumbled.

"No, Retlaw. It's the Shuccubus!" Agent Mystheur affirmed.

Two striped horns protruded from her skull. Where there would have been ears, two sharp fins protruded. She suddenly raised her head to reveal her dark look. Okay, it was the Shuccubus.

"Get her!!!" shouted Agent Smisse.

A commotion turned the refectory upside down, with everyone trying to get their hands on the slimy, vivacious creature. Only the sweet little Ouginak had remained in his chair, scratching behind his ear with his hind leg. A window broke. The wind blew into the room. Snowflakes pour in. The Shuccubus took the opportunity to escape from the station. Fax and Booya chased her into the storm.

Outside, it was almost impossible to see anything, let alone move. The force of the wind was such that the two agents fell backward several times.

"We won't make it, Fax!"

"We've got to try…"
"Look!"

In the snow, a few kameters away, two horns and two sharp fins stuck out… Suddenly, they headed straight for the pair at top speed! Both agents dived sideways to avoid them. The Shuccubus emerged from the snowy mass and jumped on Agent Mystheur. With her hand on his cheek, her face as close as possible to the Xelor's, she said these final words:

"Goodbye, Faxy!"

Then she disappeared into the blizzard.

Snowbound Village Zaap

8:08 a.m.

Agent Renheit wasn't mistaken. That morning, everything was white. Even the teleportation arch. Only six small dots could be seen on this blank page. Moving closer, the expressionless faces of the various witnesses to that sleepless night became visible. Downcast. Probably because they'd failed to solve the mystery of the temporal anomalies. They were starting over. Well, almost. Agent Mystheur put one hand on Agent Skelet's shoulder. They exchanged a knowing glance. Fax pulled a long, gray feather out of his pocket. It was slightly blackened, partly burned. Nada was surprised. Silence hung over the cotton-like lowland. Until a sweet little pooch decided to break it: "You still botched it…"

After months of clashes, the 16 best PVP teams in Dofus qualified for the Krosmoz Tournaments Arena end-of-season tournament. Both the stakes and the rewards are significant: €3,000 and places at the final phases of the Dofus Cup are up for grabs for the bravest!

Months and Tournaments

Since February, Season 2 of the KTA has been inspiring the PVP community. Players were offered six tournaments, open to all under fair conditions because participants had access to a tournament server with all classes and equipment. In total, no fewer than 500 teams took part in the season!

A general leaderboard has been keeping track of the various performances… and in this little game, once more, it's Omae who comes out on top! La Formation, finalist of the Dofus World Series and champion of KTA Season 1, remained impressive during this second season with the addition of three tournaments including Ingloriom and 210 teams signed up. Raton Voleur and Band of the Hawk were also robust throughout the season and complete the podium nicely!

Other well-known team are also there: Outbreak, the former DWSers and finalist of KTA Season 1 sadly failed to make it to the podium. Team Atlas, no other than a team made up of former players from Millenium, also ranked extremely well. Out of Control, the champion of the latest Dofus World Series, is high up in eighth place. Band of the Hawk and Anima GIG, semifinalists in KTA Season 1, also made it and went on to perform brilliantly again!

All the players are thus brought together to make way for one major PvP performance!

A Grand Final With Rewards

The KT Finals are thus the culmination of the season, bringing together the greatest PVP players of the moment! The competition will take place in two stages. Firstly, four groups of four will be formed by drawing lots, where each team will face the other three in two-way confrontations (BO2). At the end of the six matches of each team, the best two will qualify for a final group, with quarters and semis in two winning matches (BO3) and a grand final in three winning matches (BO5)! Let's just say we'll have our fill of entertainment!

The four best teams will receive a share of the €3,000 at stake for the event. What's more, the winners will receive the title and glory of KTA Season 2 champions! In addition, qualifying places for the final phases of the 2019 Dofus Cup will be given to the most-valiant teams…

Follow the Event Live

All matches will be broadcast live on Twitch!

During the group phase, as well as for the quarterfinals, two matches will often be played at the same time, so two EN streams will also be covering the event:

June 7 Is Gobbstock!

Created by a brotherhood of bards with the famous Veronika Gobbstock as their band leader, the Gobbstock Festival brings together aspiring musicians, seasoned warblers, and Sunday music lovers. It's the opportunity to meet up with friends and croon the hits of the greatest minstrels in the World of Twelve. But that's not all! Be in the game on Friday, June 7 for an event that'll make everyone happy!

From Friday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m. CEST, until Friday, June 21, the traditional Gobbstock Festival is taking place in the game! This music festival showcases both rulers of the stage and more-timid participants, for whom the words of the Bwork'n'Roll group AB/CD suddenly make sure they don't forget the lyrics!  Sadly, the same can't be said for the group's singer…

Actually, it seems his voice got slightly lost along the way… Bad luck! In order to help him out and let him rest his delicate vocal cords, you'll have to collect Desi & Belle's honey. To do so, join other players and bring back pollenectar from a hive located next to the stage (map [4,6], near the Gobball Corner Zaap). This rare resource, which only appears as the summer approaches, can be collected from the creatures of the World of Twelve outside of dimensions, underwater and indoor zones. Be careful, though: You'll only be able to collect this resource from monsters of your level group.

To start the adventure, speak with the Festival Organiser at [4,6] (2 maps away from the Gobball Corner zaap). She will give you a Pollenectar net (check your inventory quest items). Without this net, you won't drop any pollenectar when fighting monsters of your level. Don't forget to exchange the Pollenectar for Festokens by speaking with the Festival Organiser!

If you want to check how many pollenectar your server has gathered, just interact with Desi & Belle's Honey Neypot, which you can also find at [4,6].

Once the necessary amount of pollenectar has been collected, you and all the Twelvians present will have the pleasure of attending the AB/CD concert! Then, and only then, all you'll need to do is go get your reward from the merchants who'll be flocking in droves, drawn to the sweet sound of Brayar Jonsonne's voice, in exchange for festokens acquired at the hive.

Emotes, auras, titles, and many other gifts are waiting for you! But most of all… the satisfaction of having saved Gobbstock Festival! And that's priceless…

Note: In order to deploy Gobbstock in-game, a short maintenance will take place this upcoming Thursday, June 6, at 9:00 a.m. CEST. Thank you for your understanding!

[TRANSLATION] - BETA Class balancing schedule

Back in May, we committed to having all class improvements available to you on the BETA server by the second week of June.
A great majority of messages I received across different platforms are echoed in the posts found in this French thread. Please find below a rough translation of Starbender’s reply on the subject.

Manaia

Balancing classes takes time and it would be disastrous for the game to rush through the remaining classes. Therefore the changes to the classes listed below with be very superficial, for the purpose of a status quo:

  • Cra
  • Eniripsa
  • Feca
  • Iop
  • Masqueraider

The following classes will have a little more in-depth changes performed to them but far from what has been done on other classes:

  • Eliotropes (Snub and heals)
  • Xelor (mild nerf to AP removal)

However! (⌐⊙_⊙) This does not mean that everything is fine with these classes and that we deem them 100% balanced. We simply believe that out of respect for players, the status quo is preferable to class balancing changes made in haste. We made the decision to focus on each class before moving on to the next, prioritising and starting off with the ones we deemed to be in urgent need of balancing. The future will tell us if the choices we made were the right ones.

I assure you, we will still review all spells to update them to the new rank format (1 spell every 5 levels, and +- 67 levels between each rank), and each one of these classes will gain two new spells (˘ ³˘) ノ ° ゚ º❍, which have been designed with as much attention and love as other the other classes!

I am well aware that some of you will be disappointed to not see more in-depth changes to these classes but I trust you to understand that it is better this way.

Thank you for your active participation on the forums

Legends… In the World of Twelve, there are as many of them as there are Fleeflees on a Trool's head. But legends of music, they're not so common! Today, to get you ready for the Gobbstock Festival on Junssidor 21, we're going to tell you about the origins of "Bwork'n'Roll" in the Krosmoz!

The Trool was staring at these strange symbols: "A", "B", "C", "D"… and it went on for lines and lines. They meant nothing to him, except perhaps for:

"… notes o' music?" he mumbled.

"No, Ange, but nice try!" replied his big sister, Loretta. "They're letters! And all these letters, they form the alphabet. They can form words, then sentences, then a whole load of chat…"

The group remained perplexed. Loretta Yangue, a silky-haired, full-bodied Trool, had become a teacher for her brothers and their music band in their rehearsal room. She'd told them that if they really wanted to expand into the World of Twelve, they had to be able to tell people they were performing in all the best taverns. To do so, they were going to have to make posters, sign contracts… in short, reading and writing.

Her little brother, Ange, was putting his heart into it. He'd even dressed up in school clothes to attend his first class! He was like that, Ange – always deeply involved in what he was doing. Besides, Loretta had had a cold sweat when he confided in her that he wanted to step into a schoolboy's skin… Fortunately, he didn't apply it to the letter this time, even though no one had any idea where or how he got those clothes…

On the other hand, the others made fun of Loretta's lesson: Rude the goblin, the drummer of the band, seemed to be swallowing the flies attracted by the smell of bassist Wiff Rilliam, a stinky Bwork, but who had impeccable blond hair. Brayar Jonsonne, the singer with a voice so powerful and shrill that he had already destroyed his mother's, aunt's and darling granny's eardrums, was sharpening his canines with a file. As for the older brother of Ange and Loretta, Clamol Yangue, he was contemplating what he had just come out of his nose with a goofy grin.

"Hey, guuuuuys! Give it some of your…" Loretta asked.

"When d'we play?" asked Rude. "I wanna hit!"
"When Miss Loretta decides to let go of our scratch…" said Riff.
"We're Bworks and Trools, honey! We don't need to know about your doodles!" Brayar argued.
"… and a goblin…" said Rude.
"I already told you, you numpties! It'll mean you won't be fooled and made to pay when you play, but it'll also let you write songs and display the name of your band all nice and big…"
"What name?" wondered Brayar.
"You DO have a name, don't you?"
"…"
"I can't believe it! How are people going to go to your concerts if you don't have a name?"
"Well, they'll hear us blaring! You really know nothing about music…"
"That's how it always worked," confirmed Wiff.
"Always, " added Rude.
"We never wrote a song – we just grunt and it doesn't bother anyone in the audience. Quite the opposite – they grunt with us…"
"Because they're Trools and Bworks too!" Loretta answered.
"And goblins…" added Rude.
"Ange, help me…" his sister pleaded with him.

The Trool was the youngest of the band, but his view was important. On the one hand because he was the solo guitarist, on the other hand because he was also the person who founded the band. He stood up in his school clothes and spoke solemnly.

Ange explained to them that he didn't want people to like them just because they were the only band in the village, but because they had talent. Because they were the best! He wanted to become famous throughout the World of Twelve – as famous as Jon Lemon!

The others nodded. Who doesn't secretly dream of being Jon Lemon?

*****

The months passed. The band learned to read with Loretta every morning of the week and they played their music every afternoon.

One day, Brayar waited until the others had left the class to talk to Loretta. He shyly handed her a folded piece of paper. The silky-haired Trool opened it. It said:

Bank to Hit, by Brayar Jonsonne

Bank to hit!

Now ain't the time to quit

Not gonna be any old bandit

Grab your rags

There in your bag

Get out and go grab some swag

Climb on your Dragoturkey, it's all ready

But it's no time to brag

It's old and ain't that steady

It's gonna hurt

Just don't hit the dirt

Your ride's going down in writ

Cos today the bank's gonna get hit

Yeah, gonna hit

Yeah, yeah, gonna hit

Tellin' ya, the bank's gonna get hit

Ha! Ha!

(Backing vocals)

Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

(Backing vocals)

Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

Bank to hit!

Yeah, the bank's gonna get hit!

Loretta had never seen him like that. Usually so sure of himself, the Bwork looked at his feet while waiting for her verdict.

"That rocks, Brayar! And… you didn't make a single mistake!"

Embarrassed, he smiled while scratching his head, showing a row of shiny teeth with two sharp canines protruding.

"Anyway… Did you come up with a band name?"

"It's gonna be AB/CD."

Ange Yangue had just entered the room, closely followed by his pals. Loretta seemed… cautious.

"It has to represent us, right? Well, I think we're the only Trools and Bworks to have learned how to read…"

"And the only Goblin!" added Rude.
"Besides…" the guitarist continued, "that's how the story began."

See you in Amakna at [4,6] for AB/CD's concert!
Well done to everyone who valiantly fought and gathered the much needed pollenectars!  <3

DOFUS is changing its tune!

As the music festival soars to an epic crescendo around the world tonight, Twelvians will soon be enjoying a breath of fresh air... Guillaume Pladys, the creator behind the DOFUS and WAKFU soundtracks, is getting ready to put on his composer's wig and start writing some more tunes!

Tonight, the music festival is setting the tone! The compositions that guide your journey and are an essential part of your immersion in the unique and fantastical universe of the World of Twelve are about to get a makeover.

You heard right: We've got a major project ahead of us as we remake the music in DOFUS! We know how essential music is in establishing a game's atmosphere. We're also fully aware of its nostalgic and sentimental aspects. That's why these new compositions will rely heavily on the very earliest DOFUS melodies, easily recognizable for veterans of the Krosmoz...

Bonta wasn't built in a day. So you'll have to be patient and wait a little while for this change to effect... But fear not, along the way we'll try to share a few musical excerpts on the Ankam'Audio SoundCloud to make the wait a little easier to endure... Speaking of Ankam'Audio, you can already check out the new Bonta and Brakmar music right here:

The wait is almost over: update 2.52 will be deployed on all servers on the morning (CEST) of July 2.

Two new spells per class for increased flexibility, a few adjustments to the values of existing spells, and new mechanics for Osamodas and Sacriers. Of course, our work will continue even after this patch.

The 4th season of the Kolossium should be ready to start on July 9 with a renewed focus on competition, but we're leaving open the possibility of pushing that date back a bit, depending on how class modifications are coming along. For more information, check the devblog.

#KTA: A third season of fighting!

$

After convincing hundreds of teams in Season 2, the Krosmoz Tournaments Arena is coming back to add its splash of PvP in the coming months!

One month ago, team Band of the Hawk, made up of Steam-Alb, Handguns, Defuse, and Soitoi, was crowned champion of the Krosmoz Tournaments Arena (KTA) Season 2! Now, the association is starting again with Season 3, consisting of new cash-prize tournaments open to all!

How the Season Works Overall

Some KTA principles are staying the same. The tournaments still take place entirely on a tournament server (players have at their disposal all the classes at level 200 with all equipment and a +1 AP/MP/Range effect). In addition, the tournaments are still accessible to all, regardless of level or server.

Alongside these constants, a few changes have been made compared with last season! Actually, for Season 3, the KTA is putting its level league system to one side and is bringing players together in four grand tournaments with a cash prize at the end of each one.
In total, €5,000 will be up for grabs in the coming months!

Here is the overall schedule for the season:

  • July: KT Open – July Edition
  • August: Ingloriom, the major tournament of the season
  • September: KT Open – September Edition
  • October: KT Finals, a tournament reserved for the best teams of the season

You've got it: The hostilities are about to commence!

KT Open – July Edition

From now until Wednesday, sign up for the KT Open – July Edition!
The matches will start on Thursday, July 18.

The classic tournament format is being used. It will start with seven Swiss-style qualifying rounds with a set class make-up. The best teams can qualify for the final phases where the matches will be played after a draft phase and, therefore, with always different make-ups!
Here's the schedule for the competition:

  • Thursday, July 18: 2 qualifying rounds
  • Saturday, July 20: 3 qualifying rounds
  • Monday, July 22: 2 qualifying rounds
  • Thursday, July 25: rounds of 64 and 32 (BO1)
  • Sunday, July 28: round of 16 (BO3)
  • Tuesday, July 30: quarterfinals (BO3)
  • Thursday, August 1: semifinals (BO3)
  • Sunday, August 4: final (BO3)

The matches in the week will be played in the evening and those at the weekend in the afternoon.

For this first tournament of the season, the KTA is putting €500 into the game, as well as two directly qualifying places for the KT Finals, the end-of-season tournament with the largest part of the total cash prize!

For more information (times, team make-up limits, etc.) and to sign up for the tournament, head to the tournament page on the KTA website. If you've never taken part in a KTA tournament, you can follow this guide to sign up.

Temporis III: prepare for battle starting tomorrow!

Pre-registration on the temporary servers will be open from Tuesday, July 16 to Thursday, July 25 at 11:59 p.m. (Paris time). This summer, enjoy a new community and competitive experience by joining one of the World of Twelve's two iconic cities and earning all-new rewards. More details in this news update…

We're reinventing Temporis for its third edition by offering an adventure that's packed with challenges for you and your friends: join Bonta or Brakmar and face off against your rival city in a series of individual and group quests.

Pre-registration on these temporary servers, where you'll be starting from scratch for all-new adventures, will be starting tomorrow. There's plenty of incentive to take part, since pre-registering gets you free gifts (which will no longer be available when the servers are opened and registration starts). Act now – pre-registration ends on July 25 at 11:59 p.m. Paris time.

Why pre-register?

Pre-registering lets you:

1. Reserve your character name.

2. Register on the same server as your friends.

3. To take advantage of Temporis from the get-to,

4. Receive rewards:

An overview of Temporis III

  • On these temporary servers, you'll start out at level 1. You'll have to pick a permanent alignment with either Bonta or Brakmar, which you will keep for the full length of the event (about two months). Warning! You cannot play with friends who have a different alignment. To be part of the same guild or alliance, you must also belong to the same city.

  • You can also register with the highest bidder as a mercenary before joining one of the two nations. It's an option well worth considering, since it comes with additional rewards: 5 City Potions (Bonta or Brakmar) + 5 Recall Potions + 5 life-recovery consumables + 5 energy-recovery consumables + 10 temporary Vitality and Power bonus consumables + 1 Aliton!

  • You must be a subscriber to access the Temporis servers.

  • You'll have both individual and group objectives, along with an individual score and a group score. All of these stats will appear on a real-time leaderboard!

  • In PvM, you'll help your own city's progress, while in PvP, you can slow down the opposing city's progress.

  • Subject to certain specific rules (which will block any huge last-minute donations, for example), the city that has accumulated the most kamas when the servers close will be declared the winner!

More information will be available tomorrow on the Temporis III pre-registration page!

A few new features…

Beyond the overall concept of a head-to-head confrontation between the World of Twelve's two iconic cities, there are two other aspects we think you'll find especially interesting:

Choose to be a mercenary

If you have no particular preference for either Bonta or Brakmar, consider offering your services as a mercenary: you'll automatically receive additional rewards for joining the nation that needs you most!

Go directly to jail!

In PvP, when you are defeated in an alignment battle, you will be sent to the opposing city's prison for a prison sentence in real time (= connection time)! You'll then have three ways to get out:

  • Serve out your sentence. You'll then be teleported to the Astrub Zaap.
  • You can be freed by your allies if they manage to pull a lever outside of your cell. You'll then have two minutes to escape!
  • You can bribe the guard (an NPC) to get out immediately and be teleported to the Astrub Zaap.

See you tomorrow to pre-register and get more information!
